

I truly hope that all students enjoy the learning experience as much as my kids did. My dream was very simple and I think they have exceeded my goal as now both of them enjoy talking in Hindi to their family back in India. I did not have a big expectation for them to perfect the language or to become a scholar. My motive for sending them to Hindi school was that they can communicate to their family in India and learn the Indian culture. My older son graduated in 2014 and my younger son will graduate in 2015 from Hindi school. Teaching in Hindi school is my passion and love being around kids. I have a Master's degree in Planning and Administration and have been working with Johnson and Johnson from the last 20 years. I am mother of 2 boys: a 17 year old and a 12 year old. I have been living in this area from the last 18 years. It's our privilege and honor to be associated with such a talented and dedicated group of volunteers at our school and community. We are the coordinators of Hindi school for the past 9 years and we love to interact with kids and like-minded families and friends.

For this very reason we have been associated with many local religious, cultural and educational groups. We both believe that the best way to give back to your community is through volunteerism. Sudha has a Master degree in Economics from Kanpur University. degree in Chemistry from CDRI, Lucknow and after working with biotechnology companies for many years I am now working with Columbia University, NY. We are parents of two grown up boys who graduated from Montgomery High School and Rutgers University and now working in Pharmaceutical and Finance industry. Before moving to New Jersey, we lived in Cleveland (OH), New York and Urbana-Champaign (IL). Shiv & Sudha Agarwal are residents of Montgomery Township since 1999. Montgomery High School took back their title in 2022. However, in 2006, a new contender, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South, defeated Montgomery HS. From 1997-2001, Montgomery Township School District perennially sent both its middle school and high school to Nationals. Their highest placement at Nationals is 13th. Montgomery High School, in Skillman NJ, is a New Jersey Division C powerhouse with ten State titles.
